In this role, the successful candidate will initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport and records.

Suspension Lift Aftermarket Accessory Service Advisor Job Duties:
Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment.
Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
Demonstrate the ability to order appropriate parts based on vehicle needs.
Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns Be aware of and track comebacks and make sure the problem is corrected to the customer and dealership's satisfaction Greet customers immediately in a courteous manner Treat customers fairly and with honesty and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices Must have outgoing, friendly personality and superior communication & customer service skills Experience working in a service department Experience in the Jeep Aftermarket Industry Experience with wheel/tire combinations, backspacing, offset, etc.
Experience with suspension lift options and ability to make recommendations to satisfy customer wants/needs.
Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry.
Passionate about the automotive industry.
Ability to write and work on routine reports and correspondence Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution Knowledge and experience with the diesel automotive and performance industry.
Good computer skills Knowledge of office procedures Good organizational ability General understanding of mechanical/technical terms.
